Back in November, we announced on our social media that we're officially launching a Mexico City office to help clients coming in from the United States, Canada, and Europe plan their celebration. Since then, our team has hit the ground running, touring a long list of venues (our top picks coming your way!), meeting with local vendors and already producing a handful of projects. Our goal is to provide our destination clients with local knowledge, as we fully get the challenges planning an event in a foreign country, with its own way of doing business.
We're often getting the question of why Mexico City versus anywhere else in Mexico? While we've produced events in beautiful destinations like Cabo and Nayarit/Punta Mita (and look forward to going back!), Mexico City is a market that is still being discovered as a global events destination. The mystique, charm, and preceding reputation of CDMX sets the stage for an epic celebration, building the opportunity to create something memorable, never experienced before. We are super excited and inspired by all the different options to personalize your guests' adventure - this city is known for some of the world's best dining experiences, progressive art, diverse architecture, and impactful fashion. These points of inspiration create endless opportunities for you to dazzle and delights your guest list.
With the city offering so much, we believe in working with local talent and being a resource that bridges the gap between a destination client and the local market. Oftentimes, we see destination events flying in hometown vendors - why? Before we ever seriously considered opening up a second office in CDMX, we were blown away by the amount of wonderful talent based in this magical city. From florists to rental companies to local textile designers, we've always been big fans of how this city blends modern designs with centuries-old traditions, and can't wait for our clients' guests to experience everything there is to enjoy.
One of our very first collaborations in CDMX included a long list of immensely talented folks, setting up an intimate 40 person celebration at Casa Barcelona, a new project from the owners of Prim MX. The group came together to bring our botanical dreams to life, and was recently featured on Architectural Digest México y Latinoamérica.
